The AirMarksman Backbone Rail System is more than just an extended optics rail—it’s a complete structural upgrade designed to reinforce and unify your rifle platform. By replacing both the factory optics rail and backbone plate with a single piece of extra-rigid, aircraft-grade aluminum, this system eliminates tolerance stacking and significantly reduces flex throughout the rifle.
The result is a more stable, consistent shooting platform—all for the addition of just 4 ounces.
Engineered with input from top NRL Airgun Class shooters, the Backbone Rail also introduces smart functional upgrades. A bolt retention detent holds the cocking handle and bolt probe securely in the rear position when open, helping prevent accidental double feeds and eliminating unwanted play. Prefer the factory feel? The detent can be easily removed during installation.
With a full 18 inches of Picatinny rail—the most usable rail space available—and 30 MOA of built-in elevation, the Backbone Rail is purpose-built for precision shooting at distance.
