Quickfill adaptor with foster male for filling up your spare FX air bottle without loosing air
This solid, stainless steel, quickfill adaptor with foster male connection can be used to fill up your spare FX air tanks. Our special design makes sure you do not waste any air when the adaptor is screwed on- or off the bottle so you always keep the maximum pressure left in the bottle.
The same way you normally fill your FX rifle, with your scuba tank and fill set, you can fill up your spare FX air tank. Just screw the adaptor into the bottle, connect your fill set with hose to the adaptor and fill up the bottle slowly to the maximum allowed fill pressure, close your scuba tank and depressurize the fillset and hose and you are ready. The quickfill adaptor can be unscrewed on- and off the bottle without losing any air.
The quickfill adaptor for FX bottle's is also equipped with a M4 of M6 threaded hole where a headless M4 or M6 allen bolt can be screwed in, this can be used to open up the bottle's valve so you can depressurize a bottle or you can use it as a flow restrictor when filling the bottle so you will be sure the filling process will go slowly.
It is suitable for all FX cylinders like the 300 cc, 480 cc, 580 cc and the Dreamline compact air cylinder.

NOTE:
Inside the FX valve construction there a 4,5x1,5 oring used. This ring is the only part keeping the valve seat in it's correct position. Due to the blast of air, in some occasion, this o-ring can be dislocated causing the valve seat not to close properly.
It can be solved or prevented following the instructions below;
By replacing the red marked factory oring below, with the new o-ring (with a different size and hardness) what is included with the bottle adaptor, the valve seat will remain perfectly in it's position during use and will seal properly.
Huma-air includes this new model of o-ring with their FX bottle quickfill adaptors. So in case it would happen, it can be solved inmediately, or of course you can also replace this o-ring before you start using the quickfill adaptor. The size used is 5,5×1,5 FKM
