The Macavity Arms MA8 is a precision-engineered competition and long-range PCP air rifle built from the ground up for benchrest and precision shooting — featuring an electric trigger for virtually zero mechanical creep, Tru-Click adjustable regulator with audible detents for exact repeatable tuning, FX/TJ-compatible MSR barrel system, 680cc 7075 aluminum reservoir, adjustable rail angle for cant elimination, ARCA bottom rail with M-LOK, and a modular baffled moderator with carbon fiber suppressor shroud. Available in Standard (500mm) and Long (700mm) configurations in .30 caliber.

Overview

The MA8's electric trigger is its defining performance feature — delivering ultra-clean electrical actuation that virtually eliminates mechanical creep for an exceptionally consistent break from shot to shot. The Tru-Click regulator provides audible, tactile detents where each click equals exactly one bar of pressure change — allowing precise, repeatable tuning to find and return to the regulator sweet spot for any pellet and range. The MSR barrel follows FX liner specifications for broad aftermarket compatibility, enabling rapid barrel and liner experimentation without complex gunsmithing. The adjustable angle between the top Picatinny rail and barrel eliminates scope cant for cleaner long-range elevation computations.
