The Ascend-14L's integrated ball head nests directly into the apex for a clean, compact package — no separate head required. The triangular center column delivers an overall smaller stowed profile while the lever-controlled removable and reversible center column adds 10.1" of quick working height when needed. Mark II improved twist locks, a more durable magnetic pull tab mechanism, 4 angle stop positions, integrated hex key storage, spirit levels on both clamp and apex, integrated QD socket, and 1/4-20 accessory socket round out one of the most feature-complete adventure tripods available at any price.
