The Really Right Stuff TVC-22i Mk2 SOAR Series is an innovative inverted deployment tripod engineered for rapid setup, uncompromising stability, and maximum adaptability in demanding field conditions. Featuring new Mk2 improvements including faster-locking collets, new O-rings, vented clevis design, and threaded side apex sockets — the TVC-22i delivers high strength-to-weight ratio performance in a compact, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum package that gets you ready for action faster than ever.
Overview
The TVC-22i's inverted deployment design is its defining innovation — flipping conventional tripod setup on its head for faster, more versatile positioning in the field. The Mk2 update brings meaningful improvements throughout: new collets reduce lock engagement travel by half for faster lock and unlock, new O-rings keep threads clean and provide better tactile feedback, and the new vented clevis design allows legs to collapse faster without pressure buildup. Threaded sockets on the sides of the apex provide better placement for QD attachments and accessories like the BC-18, and the 2 and 3 Series SureGrip now uses the same 5/32" hex key as your RRS plate — fewer tools to carry.
