The Two Vets 55mm Dual Tension Ballhead with Area 419 ARCALOCK Clamp combines the proven Two Vets dual tension ballhead with Area 419's innovative ARCALOCK Quick Detach clamping system — preventing unwanted forward rifle movement while clamped, a meaningful advantage over standard Arca clamps. Compatible with any Arca rail on the market for broad platform versatility and built for heavy weight rifles 20 lbs and above with a 65 lb maximum load rating.
Overview
The Area 419 ARCALOCK QD system is the defining upgrade in this configuration — the ARCALOCK clamp prevents unwanted forward movement of the rifle when clamped into standard clamps, improving stability and consistency during shooting. The dual tension ballhead's large coarse adjustment knob and separate fine adjustment knob allow precise, individually dialed tension for any rifle weight and shooting position, and the 3/8" or 1/4" male stud attachment covers the vast majority of tripod head interfaces.
