Overview
The V2's reduced center section is the key improvement over the original QDT — making the tripod more packable while opening up compatibility with any standard ballhead the shooter already owns or prefers. Ratcheting ear leg adjustment tabs and 1/4 turn twist locks enable fast, intuitive leg deployment, and integrated spikes in the feet provide positive ground anchor on soft terrain. At 4 lbs 12 oz with a 100 lb max weight rating, the QDT V2 delivers serious load capacity without serious weight.
