Airguns come in four main calibers. The widely preferred .177 is versatile for target shooting and hunting, offering diverse air gun pellet choices. The .22 is popular for hunting and long-range shooting, with a wide airgun pellet variety. The .25 provides more power and larger air rifle pellets but has fewer options than .177 and .22. The .20 caliber is less popular. Big-bore calibers (.30 and above) are gaining popularity for larger game but offer fewer airgun pellet choices.
